Went to see Soft Cell a few years ago at the paradiso which was a fantastic gig, Almond is back after a near fatal motorbike accident a couple of years ago.
I heard from the promoter from Paradiso that Marc Almond doesn't bother to sing any of the old classics. If that is true, what a shame! Who know any of his newer stuff???

I saw him with Soft cell in 2002, so obviously they did their old stuff, I wouldn't know what he sings as a solo act, I would be suprised if he didn't do any old stuff. Best thing would be to check out his recent gigs and check to see what his set lists are.
Many years ago in around 1988, I was in a London branch of Tower Records in the queue and Marc Almond was in front of me buying a Roy Orbison album!
He was dressed in 1950's leather/rocker style and I remember he paid with a Barclay's bank cheque.
