Hi

Wanted to know which of the sport channels in europe airs the f1 races.I get to watch only eurosport with my cable operator but when i checked their tv schedule i could not find f1 in that.

Your best bet is RTL5 although Canvas sometimes has it too. My husband watches on RTL. The commentary can suck tho - is your Dutch any good?

If you have the $$ and the capability I suggest a dish + sky box + ftv card and then watch on ITV.

Thanks for replying.
I did manage to watch the F1 race last sunday on a channel by name SBS 6.I am an expat and can't understand or speak dutch though i wud love to learn before i go back in about 4 months.The commentary was in dutch but i was thrilled to watch the race.I follow F1 for the last 7 years and i am pretty much ok with out commentary as well :-)

Your suggestion about the ITV seems good but i guess it wud be too expensive.

ITV have good coverage with Ex driver MartinBrundle commentating.

Setting up Sky isnt so expensive - chec E-Bay or similar for a cheap second hand system. all you need is a free to air card which most second hand boxes come with - you wont get all the premium sports and movie channels but you will get BBC and more importantly ITV with its F1 coverage without having to subscribe!!

(installation is easy as well!)

I have a delema.For years i have put up with poor time frames for grand prix coverage and even worse follow up the next day for feed back of the race.I watch the itv broadcast through an Australian tv station but it is delayed.I was wondering if there was a way to watch the race online with home director features.
