Hi!
I'm pregnant and as my obstetrician, whom I like very much, only does births in the one hospital where I don't want to go, I would like to have recommendations for good hospitals+obstetricians (especially females). Especially in/near Etterbeek. So, please, if you have any good/bad experiences let me know!
Another thing is the actual birth. I would like to be able/allowed to walk/take showers/bath during the opening phase and do the actual delivery in "birthing chair" (not sure of the right vocabulary in English), anyway, in upright position rather than lying on my back in bed. Is this possible anywhere in Brussels?
Which hosp are you not keen on?
There are a few lady obsts at this clinic called Brussels menopause centre(dont be put off by the name)
Ave Winston Churchill 239
1180 Uccle
02/340 1414
Mine is Sonia Lejeune. Happy to recommend her. She is affiliated to Edith Cavell.I recently had my baby at Edith Cavell Hosp in Uccle (about 20 mins drive from your area). The hosp offers a variety of birth methods including the relaxing bath etc.
Good luck!

Hi!
I'm pregnant also, but I do not even have an obstetrician here in Brussles! I would like to give birth under nearly the same circumstances as scandi wrote, but I have no idea, where to go! I've read the answer of mamajez, and I will get in touch with that hospital, but I would like scandi to reply, and write about her chidbirth: Where did you gave birth and how?
(Sorry for my English)
