There's a growing Aussie Rules presence in Europe, and now Belgium has its own team - the Brussels Saints. You can find out more about them at <a href="http://saints.8bit.co.uk/index.asp" Target="_BLANK">http://saints.8bit.co.uk/index.asp</a>
Overall, there are (I think) about 8 or so teams in Europe, enough now for regular matches and even a championship (10 July, in Dusseldorf).
So...if you're interested in playing, get in touch with Luke White through the website, and come along. You don't have to be an Aussie either, all nationalities welcome!

That sounds really cool that a aussie rules club is in Brussels, i've played it and enjoyed the full-on intensity... if i travel to Brussels may have a gander at a club match of footy... the rugby here is not bad also.

My husband Arnout used to play with the Brussels Saints, and I think he still has a contact there (he's actually hoping to organise a game between the Saints and the Dutch team in the near future).
If you visit the Dutch site ( http://www.devliegendehollanders.nl/welkom.html ), you'll see the email address on the sidebar - drop Arnout an email and perhaps he'll be able to put you in touch with someone who can let you know what's going on with the Saints.

I asked - he has a couple of email addresses, but is not sure whether there is still anything going on footy-wise (he last had contact September last year).
