Full Version: Tele2

I have had enough of this lot. They phoned me some time ago trying to sell their wares (I NEVER buy like this!). I told them I was not intrerested.

Suddenly, I received a letter stating "as a customer of Tele2"... They also addressed it to Mr Mohammed B... !! I sent back all the cr*p in the pre-paid envelope they provided with a note.

Lo and behold if yesterday, Mr Mohammed receives another letter stating "since you contacted us to become a customer...etc)... Well, I reurned the cr*p again using their pre-paid envelope. I have also sent a strongly-worded email to their customer support dept.

So, I call on you all to make use of any TELE2 pre-paid envelopes (remember, THEY have to pay for each one used) and send them whatever cr*p you feel like!
why bother........
Well, you have to dispose of the paper somehow, so why not via the mail and they pay for it?

Yep - why not? If they insist on this sort of publicity terrorism the very least you can do is to make it that little bit more expensive for them.

Better still, if you have a favourite charity or cause, why not send them a whole load of literature - then they are not only obliged to pay for the postage, but they also have to look at the contents.

I don't know about Belgium, but the UK has a service called the Mailing Preference Service - link here:

<a href="http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/mpsr" Target="_BLANK">http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/mpsr</a>/

Subscribing to this service dramatically cuts down on junk mailing (they do 'phone cold callers as well). Also, if you contact a company and ask to be removed from their mailing list, it becomes illegal for them to contact you usolicited.

I'm prety certain there must be a Belgian equivalent, as there must be a quite rigorous data protection act here to.
I was on the phone preference service in the UK. The marketing calls reduced to almost zero within a month. After that, I received about 1 every 2 months (which I reported).
