Most people think that cricket is a dying sport. Too slow for today's fast world. But the one-day international on Saturday between India & Pakistan has proved the sport is alive and well. In fact going by the hype, the passion and the game, I think cricket cannot die till there is an India and a Pakistan.
It was a superb match and a great result. Obviously India won !!!!

LOL of course!
You know, that's something different about here - in Aus we would have had cricket up to the eyeballs on telly, but here...not a peep!! Of course, it might help if I switched the telly on occasionally...
Yes Millie, but you would probably have more chance of seeing live goosehead pulling!

Thank God for the internet. There is no REAL sport on the telly here either !! (American football & baseball don't count !!)

An update on this one......... its rather late but I was just too busy celebrating. India won the test series for the 1st time in 50 years on Pakistan soil !!!!!!!! The most amazing thing was that the Pakistani fans actually applauded the Indian win !!
Its a changed world when Australians hurl abusive racial comments and the Pakistanis applaud an Indian win. I still can't believe it !
...and England drubbed the Windies and have won the first one-dayer!
What is happening - did Nostrodamus predict this?
