To those who knew my earlier angst about the issuance of a restricted ID (the "stay put in Belgium for the first 8 mths" crap), we're heading home for Xmas and duly applyed for a re-entry visa for moi.
Latest: the Foreign ministry now say travelling to Malaysia, Aust and Japan is no problem....these are considered "schengen"....

Yes, got back mid Jan. Breezed thru customs and even cleared our 90kgs of baggage hassle-free. (Mainly baby goods)

After one year, I finally get my multi-schengen ID card. Efficiency.
Congrats, I suppose, but that ain't much use for the UK is it!! (having a dig at the islanders!)
