Hi there,

I am currently negotiating a job offer with a large insurance company. I have no idea whether what they are offering me is good, bad or average in local terms. Does anyone have any idea what sort of salary a Senior Manager / Head of Department should be looking for in this industry sector?

I understand I also need to factor in the slightly higher income tax, the fact that I'm relocating etc.

Thanks!

I have seen many questions like this over many years and whilst it may seem a simple question, it has a complex answer. Much depends on your status, nationality, the type of relocation that is included, where your tax and pension will be paid, how long the assignment is for, where the office is, and, and , and. What you can do once you have the details is speak to a local specialist that many people can connect you with to guide you - but you will need to have the package details for them to guide you. What I can do is speak to you on the phone and answer some basic questions.
