Hi everyone,

I am a KM working in NL, and I have a Verblijfsdocument. Is there any website where we could check our information registered at IND/Gemeente, that tells about our address registered, current legal status on the country and so on?

I am asking that because my dutch company sent me for a 6 months project in Switzerland and, although I still have an apartment in NL and am registered on it, I wonder if I still legal in the country.

Regards

First of all I wouldnt want such a website available. Do you know about all the breaches of private information that has been lost by various governments.
How can you be illegal if you have a valid verblijfsdocument?

Well, I've been living for 6 months outside the country now. Although I go to NL once a month for a weekend... I am just afraid they canceled my Visa/Residence Permit and I don't know about it.

Call the IND and/or visit your gemeentekantoor and request a printout of your information.

Well, calling the IND would make them curious. In principle, if you answered all official mail, paid your taxes and health insurance and had no unexpected control if you really live there, you are still a Dutch resident.

You could get an extract of the GBA register for about 15 euro at your Dutch municipality. You have to be there yourself and show your ID. If they ask you why do you need it, say something like diploma recognition.
