My boss is moving from the UK to Amsterdam and is using a moving company. They did a survey of his new house and the street was very tight (ie if you put a moving truck on his street for a few hours, no one could come and go). Do you need to get a moving permit? Also, how did you work having a moving truck for 4 or 5 hours on the street? Thanks!

I know that for the Grachtengordel you do have to arrange for one.
Speak to the stadhuis, they'll be able to tell you exactly what's needed for what street etc.
