Hi,
I have a question about the effect of having the 30% (tax) facility on income/benefits paid during maternity leave (referred to as the "WAZO uitkering").

I have been in NL for nearly 4 years now. I had the 30% tax facility at my 1st job (1 year) and also have it at my present job (almost completed 3 years).

I am now pregnant. My current employer filed for WAZO uitkering. I got a letter from the UWV stating that I will receive an income that is only 70% of my current income +vacation pay during the maternity leave period.

Is this correct? Do I lose 30% of my income during maternity leave since I have the 30% ruling?

Thank you very much, in advance, for your responses.

These are govt benefits not your regular pay so the 30% ruling has nothing to do with materinity leave benefits.
Return to the job within 4 months to retain your 30% ruling.
