I'm living in The Netherlands but am planning to emigrate and have a prospective employer flying in for a face-to-face interview in Amsterdam next week. He's asked me to suggest somewhere to meet for the interview. I don't know Amsterdam all that well and have drawn a blank. Can anyone suggest somewhere that would be good? I guess a hotel lounge bar would be a good option but they can seem quite soulless.

I'd have said the 'Victoria Hotel' just a few minutes walk away from the station, but I guess it's too late now... hope it went well.
