Hello all, Belgium is considered to be of very high standard for medical care. In most cases, doctors are high professionals. BUT exceptions are always there.

Experience with Gyno Dr. Philippe Albertyn, based in Antwerp, one line definition : Extremely Greedy. He is affiliated with St-Augustinus hospital. Apoparently, in the gynecology department there is an agreement that doctors send their patients with fertility problems directly to the higly specialized team which is only treating those problems. After the problem is solved, the patient is free to come back to her original treating doctor. They have a whole protocol for these very specific treatments which are very emotional. Sadly I learned it much too late.

As soon as I realized, I was happy to have left Dr. Albertyn. He absolutely wanted to do all the infertlity treatments (IUI) by himself in his private practice, but not in a specialized hospital unit, and, obviously, charging his abnoctious fees. After I finally changed the doctor, I was immediately sent to solve my infertlity problems (to go through IUI treatment) at the St-Augustinus hospital following complete protocol with successful result in the very first time.

Please be careful of this name and suggest me if I should write a complaint about him elsewhere or atleast to make other women aware of his misleading practices and ways to do a job of 1 appointment in 4.

thanks for letting us know cause right now i am having problems getting pregnant and i am going to try to see this woman close by to me i hope she doesn't recommend him then cause we don't have a lot of money as it is. i went to a guy gyno and it was in gent and he is so insesentive and he didn't care about how i felt to find out i had a false pregnacy. and he was like why do you think your pregnant your not and i paid 54 euros to that ass. never again will i go back there cause he is an asshole. i forget the guys name but never go to this place gynaecolgoie gordunakaai 73 9000 gent.
