Hello,

I would love to hear some information about both schools. Anybody has children at these schools and would not mind telling me what you think about the schools?
I am trying to decide which school would fit my kids better (reception and year 2 in the British system).

The ISH seems a friendly small school but is relatively new. The Violenschool is a rather big school, more experienced but the lower classes seem to be housed in a temporary accomodation. I haven't seen it from the inside though.

If you have any info please let me know. Specifically about the atmosphere, the teacher -student relationships and other information important to a parent with small kids. I do not know anybody in Hilversum and am living too far away to drop by.
If you like, you can email me off line of course (margreetmargreet (at) yahoo (dot) com

Thanks a lot!

I can only tell you about the ISH - and I would definately recommend it, nice friendly atmosphere, kids are expected to be respectful of teachers and each other, and they have a good curriculum with lots of creative activities. Teachers are very approachable, and being newish they have very good class sizes.
