Is it just me or is the ABN AMRO ad (that is frequently atop my screen when I visit the forums) extremely "off" somehow?

"As if you never moved abroad
The ABN AMRO Expat Service
Making More Possible"

First of all, I admit- I have no idea what ABN AMRO is. (Sorry if that makes me an idiot.) This ad sure does nothing to clarify what exactly their "expat services" are, which adds to my easily confusable state, when I say the following:
I think this ad is funny because if you have even the slightest sense of US culture, you know that to say, "As if you never [done x, y, or z]"- is almost ALWAYS meant in a sarcastic way which implies, "OF COURSE YOU'VE [done x, y, or z]. Don't deny it!"

I almost expect there to be a "Pfft, yeah right!" in there somewhere...

Does anybody else get this, or do I just have a bizarre sense of humour?
