Hello,

I would like to know if someone can clarify these issues to me:

- Banks accounts: as far as I know only amounts bigger than 20.000 euros have to be declared. Is this total amount per bank account or total amount from all accounts (savings and current)? Bank accounts I might have abroad, which interest is automatically taxed, have to be declared also? The double taxation agreements apply here?

- property abroad: it has to be declared? I pay already taxes in my country for it. Will I have to pay here taxes for it too or double taxation can apply?

Also, how does tax office in the Netherlands controls if this information is provided, in case a person really has something to be declared, and if it is provided correctly?

Thanks.

Is there a tax treaty between your country and NL?
