My wife and I are officially "old fart" expats (according to another thread on a different forum) living in Haarlem with a completely mad German Shorthaired Pointer. Three walks a day, two of an hour or more, are mandatory to keep this crazy beast from climbing the walls when she is home.

We always go for a nice long hike with her on Saturday or Sunday. We know all the good loslooplaats around Haarlem where you can get in at least a 45 minute walk with the dog and would be happy to have others join us.

We've been in NL for 5 years and somehow still enjoy getting out and about to explore anywhere in the country on a weekend (c'mon, it's Holland. NOWHERE is too far of a drive as long as it isn't the "spits"). If you'd like some company on one of the local dog walks where you live, or would like to join us here in North Holland, send an email and maybe we can start an expat dog walk group.
