My trusted friend who looked at my dog whenever we went on holiday left the Netherlands and we probably can't visit my parents for the holidays as kennels are usually booked up during those times. But I'm nervous about leaving my dog at a kennel not only because she's not used to it, but because she now takes heart medication twice a day and I worry about them forgetting. I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with a kennel that has treated their vier-voeter well and perhaps have experienced leaving them there while medication was necessary. I'm in Amsterdam, but don't mind driving a bit out of town for a nice place.

Dierdorado in Waddinxveen would be perfect for you then. It is a bit of a drive for you from Amsterdam, but they look after my dog frequently when I am away and he is on a real cocktail of medicine. They do have a website - but their phone number is 0182-373097. I can thoroughly recommend them.
