For all of you living up north, you may be interested in a new group just started in Groningen aimed at bringing together expats and those interested in meeting international residents of Groningen and the surrounding area.

The group is called Groningen International Meetup Group and you can find it at:

The first event kicks off Sunday 26th October with coffee and conversation at the Grand Cafe Time Out on Poelestraat in Groningen. Look out for the Connections magazine on the table from 15:00 onwards.

Hi,

Me and some other people (also met from this forum) are going to Groningen this coming Saturday, December 6 just to explore the city and do some fun touristic things.

This is basically driven from some discounted train tickets (costs 25 euros and it's good for two, unlimited train ride all over Holland one whole day)

we are a mixed (gender/nationality wise) group of 4 (ages ranging from 21-26).
