I use Thuisbezorgd (http://www.thuisbezorgd.nl) about once a week for home delivery, but have been quite conservative with where I've ordered from so far. I can recommend "Golden Pauw" for Chinese food, and was hoping that some of you could give some feedback on some of the other places - good and bad experiences. Good pizzas, for example - I've ordered from Dominos, which is bog standard, as we all know, but at least you know what you're getting.

I used this for the first time last week. I think the restaurant was called House of India, but my memory isn't great. I chose 'pay cash at the door' option, and because this houses' postcode isn't 'in the system' yet (at least on GPS devices), I didn't hold out much hope of hearing from them (based on trying to order from New York pizzas a fortnight earlier dry.gif )

But, I got a phone call 35 minutes later from the bezorger, saying she had my food in the car, and could I direct her because we weren't on her TomTom biggrin.gif That's quite a leap of faith - even in England, people used to call back to make sure it was a genuine order before they cooked the food. The order was correct, the price was good, the food was good too smile.gif (Keema Nan.. yum yum yum yum). So I'll use it again, and that Indian restaurant too.

Hi there.. just before Justeat.nl I was thuisbezorgd user. After a few problems with ordering with my creditcard (i could not reach them:() and didn't reply on my emails:(sad.gif. So i was looking another provider and found www.justeat.nl. My experience is very good...after around 20 orders. The same restaurants as thuisbezorgen and a much much better customer-care center. After my first creditcard order they called me to check everything and said friendly if I become a member they would'nt call me again.

As Iám often in UK too I have found out that they are quitte big too and use them.

So my experience is justeat.nl rolleyes.gif instead of thuisbezorgen.nl sad.gif

Cheer up!

Thanks for the tip about justeat.nl! But, what restaurants do you order from, and are they good, which was really what I was asking?

Hi Stonewall,

The restaurants I can recommend are
Top Thai, Sushi World and La Capanna (best pizza's)

Enjoy! rolleyes.gif

We've used this a few times as well... fairly hit and miss.

Dutchie hubby says I should lower my expectations considerably for takeaway food... as a foodie I really dont see why I should .. they ARE a food establishment and they charge enough for it after all!!!! dry.gif

I've started a blog middle of this year so I have one section started in it where I'm rating and reviewing Takeaway orders... we don't order often as I usually get a miles better result cooking something myself, so it helps me not fall into the trap of not remember the good ones from the lousy ones.

I'm on a cooking mission at the moment... to perfect cooking the BEST spareribs recipe I can ... we used to have a brilliant spareribs place locally but for whatever reason they shut up shop... havent' found anything that even closely compared yet! so am trying to go the home-made route.

Also had hit and miss with them, I used Top Thai once perfectly, but a friend had a really bad time and had to cancel an order once it took over 2 hours - they still charged her card! She reversed it however.
