Theres a new film coming out shortly (Oct) that should be well worth watching - its made by the same people who did De Tweeling (IMO one of the best dutch movies ever) and its set in our fabulous NZ :-) Its called Bride Flight, true story of a plane load of 'brides' who went there as part of the 'Great Race' London (I think) to ChristChurch NZ. It follows three of the women and their stories in NZ. Set at a time in NZ when it was very conservative, wealthy and heavily agricultural, and an era thats given us many of our 'icons' - it will be interesting to see the dutch interpretation. You can see the trailer here: http://www.brideflight.nl/bride/

I would also reccomend watching the 'interview' with the author/scriptwriter - who raves about the wonderful scenery and friendly people she met in NZ when doing her research smile.gif We can be proud of our fellow countrymen! I cant imagine a more appropriate movie for kiwis living in the Netherlands to be watching this month smile.gif
