Would like to hear stories about justeat.nl. I ordered food from their website at 19:25 and got a confirmation that it will be delivered at 20:55. At 21:30 I called the restaurant, and they had not prepared the food. I contacted justeat.nl chat and I received the same response from the restaurant. 'it's very busy' So the time that justeat.nl gives you is a "guideline" They did not even bother calling me to tell me that they would deliver it late, if at all. btw, this is a second time I have experienced this with justeat.nl. Also the restaurant I ordered from was Mr. Mix, guess I will not be stopping by there anytime soon. At the end I canceled my order

Would you use their service?

Is it not quicker and easier to lift the phone and speak to them. Whilst some takeaways/delivery services offer the 'convenience' of internet ordering, would I trust them to check their inbox continually? Would I fvck!!!

I agree with wickerman. I'd much rather speak with someone than send an order via email, hoping they actually got it never mind whether they've read it or not.

Never used justeat, but I've used Thuisbezorgd.nl quite a few times & found it pretty good. Once or twice the food has failed to arrive - but that happens sometimes when you phone takeaways directly too.

However, thuisbezorgd send a mail asking for feedback an hour or so later & your rating is available to other customers on the site, so you can get a good idea of who the good & bad restaurants are.

I've never used justeat either (didn't know it existed!), but I've ordered plenty of times from Thuisbezorgd and never had any problems at all with the service. That could change, of course, but so far so good.

Wesley, with Thuisbezorgd you get a confirmation code once you've placed your order, which (I assume) confirms the restaurant has received it. They also allow you to enter additional information with your order, like extra sauce, for example.

I like the idea of Internet ordering, as you don't have to deal with any language barriers. For me, that means slurring Dutch down the phone after several(!) pints smile.gif

I have had several problems with thuisbezorgd and iám a frequent user:) of Justeat.nl. I can save for points at Justeat and if there are any problems i can always contact them via chat or telephone. Both sites offer almost the same restaurants as far i can see.
