Hi all!

I'm based between Assen and Emmen where life is moving a little to slowly for me sleep.gif ... so i'm sending out a call to everyone in the north east who just wants some company at the pub, cinema, walking the dogs, going shopping or nights out... anyone at all thats looking for a friend in this end of the world...

I get out into the city of Groningen a couple of times a month so i'm hoping to meet up with new people there as well as closer to home in Assen or Emmen...

I'm a mid 20's fun loving, open to ideas kinda gal... you can find out more on my profile...

Hope to hear from y'all soon biggrin.gif

Worth checking the Facebook group 'expats in Groningen', which seems to be the biggest community of expats in the area at the moment. We get together about twice a month for beer, and I suspect that if you wanted beer off schedule you'd find company wink.gif

Also, there's many expats around Assen cos Shell have a centre in the area. Mind you, no-one seems to like Assen, so they all live up here too wink.gif

well..i've lived in assen for 7 years and grew to love it!!..perhaps as a shell employee it would be a rather quiet/slow place to live but groningen is a stone's throw away. i love the fact that it's clean, safe, and within 5 minutes you're biking through the country-side!
