My husband usually flies from Rotterdam airport to London stansted with Transavia. He tried to book a flight today for the beginning of April although Transavia is no longer doing this route from the end of March.
My husband telephoned Transavia and they have told him that another airline is going to be flying from Rotterdam to Stansted, although the gentleman on the telephone refused to tell my husband which airline this would be.
I've googled and can find no information about another airline and wondered if anyone could tell me which other airline may be doing this route after the beginning of April ?

I do not find any flights to stansted. How about London City? My brother uses that airport. Try VLM if you want london city.http://www.flyvlm.com

I think the guy at Transavia was winding my husband up, maybe having a bad day... My son Liam used to use the VLM flight to city airport which is also a good service, but hubby needs to go further to the south east.
But, I did find that Ryanair flies from Eindhoven to stansted so he said he can try that route instead.

Laurel, please try Easyjet and Airberlin. Easyhet is the cheaper one but AirBerlin is marvelous! Good luck!

I took a look at http://www.stanstedairport.com/ but to no avail, it may take a while for another airline to start flying that route....

Cloggieking, a clue: did you have a look at Rotterdam Airport? And did you peek at Luton Airport?
I did and to no avail. so City would probably be the best option if one really needs to leave from Rotterdam I guess.
