Maybe a political leaning on this post, but do we HAVE to be lumped into a "United Kingdom" section on Expatica?

Surely, we CAN rise above that and show our independence from the tyranical government of Westminster and be "free" of English subversion and rule here? wink.gif

OK I can understand this....and there should be a 'north of Watford Gap' section too.

I am curious. Is Scotland also going seek indepedency from London? You know, it is a trend, now. If so will it be republic or kingdom (principate, sultanat, emirate, dominion or you are going to have a chief or something completeley new and different)?

In addition - will it be member of Comminwealth? What about North Sea Oil & Gas properties? How are they going to be split with whatever would be left from UK?

I am just seeking opinions.
