My au pair is coming over from Brisbane to stay with us for 9 months. She is 21, originally from Brisbane. Bright, sweet and very friendly - however, new to travelling. We would like to find other Australians who she may come in contact with in Amsterdam/Amstelveen so that she won't be too homesick (if she ever misses contact with fellow countrymen/women or the Aussie accent). I suggest you head to Coco's Outback in Thorbeckeplein, Amsterdam for Australia Day this weekend where there will be hundreds of Aussies or Aussie-wanna-be's, but get there early as they're renovating and there's less space than normal
