I'm starting a year's contract in January next year in Brussels. Can anyone tell me:

1. What the best places to live in Belgium are?
2. What is the best bank to bank with?
3. The people, are they friendly and tolerant towards ethnic minorities? Sorry to be so negative, but it does matter to me.
4. Do I need 3 months payslips to get a place to rent?
5. Can this be a UK one, or MUST it be a Belgian one?
