My family and I are in the process of relocating to Waterloo, can anybody tell me where in Waterloo UK Expats tend to live and can anybody recommend any good Belgian Schools in Waterloo (not international schools).

Any advice would be realy appreciated.

Many thanks

Nicola

Hopefully not too late for you ...

We're not British, but we've really liked Ecole Ste-Anne in Waterloo (we live in the neighborhood too). It's very centrally located and the houses are pretty nice.

Once the kids are little older, we'll likely sign them up for the British Scouts units that are already established in Waterloo.

Shopping is good and public transport links are readily available.

Word of warning though ... the commute towards Zaventem is a hellish 60 minute ride every day that school is in session (only 14 mile / 22 km). Invest in an iPod for the ride ...
