I watch one episode of West Wing per day.

And try to sneek in a LOST also. I am about episode 14 in season 2.

So when I heard about the submarine in your post..... Just kidding. Actually the USA column keeps me aware of what is happening.

Heroes, season one, episode 20, was probably one of the best episodes of a tv series I've ever seen. It was amazing.

Not sure where Holland is either. Think they started showing season 3 on 2 march. The last seen was episode 10.

I do sky where season 3, episode 19 (the Brig) is the last seen. Next Sunday is The Man Behind The Curtain

England isn't that far behind! If Holland wasn't so far behind I wouldn't bother with downloading..... sounds like England has it better organized!

England (i.e. sky) is fairly current on many USA shows. That is why I have it. And the fact that the box has a video recorder so that I can program it.

We have Sky too.
As sci fi addicts, its
Battlestar galactica (season 3 just finished on sky - wow)
Dr Who (not on tonight because of the crappy Eurovision)
Heroes - fantastic series
Ugly Betty - well not all sci fi ; )

Comedies like The league of gentlemen and Little Britain

Heroes, I agree.

What about Dresden? I like the books but still deciding about the show.

Dresden? I watched it a few times, but, I didn;t really take to it.
I LOVED Buffy and Angel, so I felt it was like a less impressive version of them. Oh well, can't like everything, I guess

Hmmm my favorite series....I am a TV addict and we just got satellite LOL My list is long but I'll keep it short. They aren't all series per se, just what I like to watch.

Man bijt hond
Kassa
Lost
Prison Break
Eastenders
As The World Turns
Young and the Restless (bittorrent downloading--love it!)
Desperate Housewives
Hotel Babylon
Larry King
24 (that bittorrent thing again!)
Heroes (also bittorrent!)
Brothers and Sisters
To Buy or Not to Buy
Oprah

We have a DVD player with HDD so we record a lot. I recorded Nine last night and hope it's a good series.

Rome was something I loved but it's done now. Also Carnivale. See? I told you I was addicted!! There are probably more that I've forgotten because they've stopped for now.

According to DH "we just have satellite w/o subscripton".

I am in Franeker which is between Leeuwarden and Harlingen. Franeker is best known for the world's oldest working planetarium and home to "PC Dag" where the Koning van Kaatsen is crowned.

I know where Franeker is. I live in Sneek which is best known for ?? Good question. Maybe the water tower? Or home of Playboy's 40th anniversary
centerfold?

Actually, key aspects to Sneek are boating and tourists.

Plus, SneekWeek, week long sailing party.

Yes, I would say that Sneek is most well-known for Sneek Week. Sneek seems like a nice place to live -- I've been there lots of times.

Where do we see The Wire? How do you view most of your shows -- on Dutch tv or downloads or elsewhere? Just curious. smile.gif

My searching indicates that FX channel will start showing The Wire (again) from the beginning of series 1 on 16 June.

Here is a link to an article
