Hey Guys, I will be moving to Belgium soon, and was wondering if any Trini's or West Indians are available for a chat. I'll be situated in Antwerp and I can't wait to move! I was there for 3 weeks in April/May and I absoutely loved it! Buzz me if anyone's out there!

Hi, Are you already in Antwerp? Your posting on this is probably old but anyway...I live in Roosendaal , Holland just over the Belgian border about half hour from Antwerp. Been here since "95. It's home now ,visit Trinidad sometimes .I'm curious why you left our lovely island !! I haven't met a single Trini since I"ve been here , how sad is that ?? -------------------- Juliet in Holland

I am here in Belgium now and I love every second of my new life here. I joined my bf and to be honest, i dont miss Trinidad. Before I left it was getting more and more depressing with the crime. I think though thre is a bigger population of Trini´s in Holland, much bigger than in Belgium anyway.

boogiepop Hi Trini Person, Funny you should say that there are lots more trinis in here than in Belg. Only today after living here for almost 12 years my husband said he met someone who knew a Trinidadian living here. I suppose in the bigger cities like Rotterdam and Amsterdam there will be more West Indians. I am curious though where in Trinidad do you come from and how did you end up in Belgium, most Trinis migrate to the US or England. I know what you mean about the crime , my family who still lives there complains daily about it but remain rather patriotic to their homeland !
