Most South African expats are well aware that violent crime, murders on a daily basis and lawlesness are ruining our beloved county. Have you seen the new website exposing these incidents to the outside world? See www.crimexposouthafrica.co.za. My family and I have been working and living in England on and off since 2001 and we seriouly considered moving to Belgium. However, we are going back to SA for now to make the best of the situation! Would any of you consider going back to SA?

http://www.int.iol.co.za/ Things are really out of control in SA. The outside world seems unaware and/or uncaring. It's so bad that most violent crimes don't even make the newspapers, never mind the news on TV. Interpol estimates the crime stats are much higher than the government is suggesting, already only releasing stats once a year. More than 50 people get murdered per day in SA! ''55,114 reported rapes and 249,369 assaults with grievous injury'' per year according to the stats. |
