Hi, I've been reading the meeting people in Amsterdam thread and you seem like a fun group of people but I'm wondering, would anybody be interested in meeting up in the same way in Rotterdam or the Hague? Amsterdam's fun but a bit too far from home for someone like me who tends to forget where she lives after a few pints

Hi Ellinida,
I think that's a great idea and I'd be really interested in meeting up and going out in both cities. I posted something similar awhile ago but then went through a busy period (so sorry to those whose emails I haven't responded to yet <img src="../images/emoticons/ysmile.gif"> It definately seems that there's an interest for a group like this in the Hague / Rotterdam area, something geared toward those who aren't part of the ICE rganization. Looks like you have struck a cord with people so when can we all get together? I live in Den Haag but happy to travel to Rotterdam, I here it's a great place for going out! There are two of us myself and my Girlfriend. |

Right - a lot of interest in drinks in Rotterdam.
How does Friday, 21st July suit everyone? I don't know Rotterdam that well (live in Den Haag), but someone who lives in the city can recommend a good place to start. We can try a few different pubs. Hopefully there are a few where the music isn't too loud, so we can hear each other! I'm in my early 30s too! :-) Getting to Rotterdam from the Hague is easy... one stop away by train if you take the intercity from Hollands Spoor (HS)... I'm a transplate Rotterdamer who works in the Hague, any questions just ask! As for a place to go... Paddy Murphy's is pretty quite in early evening... and dark and cozy (I think that's the name of the place... Rotterdamers help me out here... the one behind the WTC?) |
