I've recently moved to Brussels and I'm willing to know what the possible TV providers in the city are... I already subscribe Coditel, but I'm willing to get some more varieties... I've heard of Belgacom TV and Brutele.
Any other???!!! And, which one is your favorite?! Thanks in advance |

Don't even think about Belgacom TV 13/06/2006 01:00:00
Hi Kadub, Earlier this year I decided to give Belgacom TV a chance. It was bundled in a nice package and prices looked reasonable. Unfortunately, this "experiment" has been a major fiasco. Frequent interruptions in the middle of your favourite movie, series or game, bad image quality (pixelled areas), a decoder that takes ages to set-up and will reset for no apparent reason... Finally, not all the promised channels were available, and what is worse: you can only connect the decoder to ONE SINGLE TV. And the internet speed will decrease around 60-70% while you are watching (or actually struggling to watch) TV. I am now looking for another provider. Unfortunately in this country with limited competition there's not much to choose depending on the commune you live (I am in Woluwe St Lambert) I very much regret having given Belgacom a try. Please expats don't make the same mistake! |
