Limburg is great fun... not many expat's there though I don't suppose...most will be around Brussels/Antwerp I guess...

Hi,
Went to Berlin, Prague - my new favourite city, and Budapest. Was a good trip. Definitely have discovered the restaurants - they are fabulous. I like Hasselt as well but agree it takes some getting used to. Do you know other English speaking people here? Haven't really met anyone other than people from my husbands office. Would like to get to know some people in town as my husband travels alot! |

Lucky u! I've not been but everyone raves about Prague. Well, quite a lot of people in Hasselt are English speaking but if u mean native English speaking then I only know a neighbour who is from Ireland but not very well. But then I don't really know many people here. Do u live in or near the centrum? Would u like to meet up & u can tell me about ur travels? <img src="../images/emoticons/ysmile.gif">

I am from Toronto. Moved here in June as my husband was transferred here. You must speak the language and everything by now. I am struggling with that especially with mail and in the grocery store. E-mail if you like. It would be nice to have someone to chat with who knows the country well. |
