I´ve known it all along. International really means native English speakers on this forum. Now they even get their own pages. I find this uncalled for and separating.

In Europe we´ve been try to tear down national barriers and they are being put up again.

I start to dislike this forum more and more. - Not the people on it but the whole setting. And what´s more the layout is getting more and more unclear.

I wondered about this too. Is Expatica considering the whole European continent as one entity, so that someone from (say) Germany who is living in Belgium is not considered an expat? It does seem to be language based, doesn't it? :S

The forum fragmentation thing must be an attempt by Expatica to pump up the page views on the site. Each time we regulars are tempted to browse a forum, we add an eyeball to the stats... thereby increasing the views of the ads on the right and left.

- simon, can't you just fake the traffic and clickthroughs using a bot <img src="../images/emoticons/ytongue.gif">?

I gotta say (hope that Simon's not listening in here) but I never notice the ads. I have the same thing with my email programme: they don't bother me cause I just don't notice them. Also same thing whilst watching BBC signed repeats - I don't even notice the signer who takes up half the screen.

I agree with Det - it's about time we Brits accepted the inferior Europeans and taked to them as almost our equals!
