I've just arrived to Enschede, and I'm not sure whether I need a 'huisvestingsvergunning' to rent an apartment (and, under what situation, I will need to have one). I have read many articles online (most of which is for Amsterdam area), but all of them sound a bit confusing. Some said if then rent is above 535 EURO, then I don't need it, some said only when the apartment belongs to the free sector then I don't need it. I'm not sure which one is right, and I am not sure whether it applies to every Region as well.
Can anyone gimme a clue, when I will need a huisvestingsvergunning when I'm not; or, can anyone gimme a pointer to which I can find the information, I have a hard time figuring things out without being able to read/speak dutch... THANKS! |
