Dear All,

Can someone go back and live the country where he came from originally after having Dutch Passport?

For instance, I lived in NL 5 years, got the Dutch passport. Can I go back to my main country and live&work there? Assuming NL passport holder can live&work in their original country.

Does Dutch rules allows you?

Thanks and regards,

I heard that there are rules for Dutch pp holder to go back home country after retirement if s/he still wants to get benefit from social security system like pension and so on. But don't know the details.
Anyone knows something about it.

Also curious about what about the Dutch pp holder to work back to original country.

heard that no problem to work elsewhere when hold Dutch pp. even get high paid as a "foreigner" in some 'original native' country.
the thing is how to pay income tax, which may lead you to enjoy which country's social security, i think.
anyone has better knowledge about getting better benefit for new Dutch pp holder to go back original country. Is particular point one of important reasons for people to change passport?

There is official information for people with multiple citizenship on http://www.minbuza.nl/en/welcome/DutchCiti...tch_nationality . There it writes that if you have multiple nationality, you may loose the Dutch nationality if you live abroad for too long. This can be prevented by timely renewing your Dutch passport at the Dutch embassy.
