I'm going to be moving very soon and I have a lot of stuff I'd rather get rid of then take with me. Does anyone know of a place in Amsterdam that buys second hand books or a charity place that would just take them? They are all in English.

The Book Exchange Caution: he only buys good condition books that will selling. USA westerns are not in that category. LOL -------------------- ![]() |

Just a thought - but we took a lot of our old books (they were in good condition) to the local hospital and the library in our neighbourhood. They were happy to accept the books. In many of the hospitals there are ''non Dutch'' readers so books in English are often greatly appreciated. In our library the books went in the ''sale'' boxes and the money went towards the library - which I thought was a pretty good idea. The rest of our unwanted/read books went to friends and family (you can always palm quite a few off that way!). |
