Hi all!

I'm based between Assen and Emmen where life is moving a little to slowly for me ... so i'm sending out a call to everyone in the north east who just wants some company at the pub, cinema, walking the dogs, going shopping or nights out... anyone at all thats looking for a friend in this end of the world...

I get out into the city of Groningen a couple of times a month so i'm hoping to meet up with new people there as well as closer to home in Assen or Emmen...

I'm a mid 20's fun loving, open to ideas kinda gal... you can find out more on my profile...

Hope to hear from y'all soon

Caro Andrea,

You may know everything there is to know about Pescara since you were born in that lovely city in the Abbruzzan region. However, you apparently don't know that Groningen is a VERY LIVELY city in The Netherlands, due to its thousands of students, its university, restaurants, pubs, etc...I can assure you it's worth a visit!

Sun-n-fun: Thanks alot for pointing me in the direction of Connect International... I'll keep an eye on they're events schedule for sure

emilio: i completely agree with you, Groningen is a lively city without any doubt. I'm just finding it hard to connect with anyone locally... Where are you based?

Hi Vixen Luv,

I understand you not always appreciate the slow connecting pace in Hoogeveen, Ruinen and Vries! wink.gif But wait for the tourists coming...! I wish you luck in meeting people.
btw, I'm living in Delft and I'm in a ldr with a southern belle living in Arkansas.

i had at one point looked into connect international (i live in assen) but found them more an expat group (ie..here for work or as a trailing wife) as opposed to a spouse of a dutch guy (like me)....or very much business oriented. i also remember high fees...but perhaps they've changed and worth looking into...

i also love groningen..very lively university town...and really good, quirky shopping. we used to go to the market every saturday but tend just to do our thing now at home in assen. i've noticed people who put down the north/groningen are people who don't live here!!
