My wife works for the commission.
We're due to fill out our (first ever) tax bill for 2007. I was wondering if any of you have any info for us? - personal experience - web sites with useful info - any books that have specialised info? - any things we should NOT do? Thanks, Thomas |

I am in a similar situation (I have the Dutch nationality). But it all depends on what type of contract your wife is in Brussels. From there bureaucracy can complicate it further. Do you own a house, how long have you owned it, what's your wife's nationality, which city in Holland did you live in, are you going to work and will that be in Holland or not, -more space for bureaucratic nightmares-.
Check this link: http://www.belastingdienst.nl/overig/telefoon_buitenland/ http://www.belastingdienst.nl/variabel/bui...html#P651_61377 It's very tiring calling all these government institutions to only get the reply: Oh, how special.....that's why I can't help you. -------------------- ,...¤´¨)

One of the answers from the belastingdienst (Holland) is that as we don't work in Holland anymore we cannot ask for Hypotheekteruggave. That would really suck financially
![]() Any help on this would be very appreciated. -------------------- ,...¤´¨)
