Hello,
I have a resident permit based on my partner's residency, which allows me to take jobs in NL(ID card says so on backside of the card).
I've been in NL for about 4 years without official job. Only work shortly for a university paid by sort of subsidy (no tax, no pension, no nothing). and my partner had applied tax refund due to my unemployment and got refund yearly.
1.5 year's ago, I went non-EU country for a job. I found an offer in NL and is about to start in short time. The job offer get me the job based on my non-EU education and work experence.
Anyone could get me a clue if I am still eligble to apply the 30% ruiling?
Very grateful for any suggestions and clues!
Cheers

If you can show you were out of the country working elsewhere for 6 months, showing your job conract any bills you paid in the country where the job was such as rent, then you could get it.

I may prove that I worked else where in the past year. However, I wasn't de-registered. I hold a re-unification resident permit which is valid for 5 years even when I left for non-EU job.
My partner works in NL and the RePerm makes me easier to visit NL. Since I do not know if there are rules about how long people who has temperary resident permit is allowed to stay outside EU, I didn't de-register when I left for the job. To apply 30% ruilingIt seems to expose my long term leaving NL, which make me trouble to lose my current resident permit. Is that something can happen?

It is posted on this board how long you are allowed to leave the country before your permit becomes defunct. You have to find it. However 6 months isn't an issue.

There is an annual salary under which they will not consider you for the 30% Tax ruling, as the ruling is intended for knowledge workers and/or skills that NL is short of. The last time I checked into this for one of my employees (about 18 months ago) that figure was €45,000 per year - though it's index linked, obviously.

My husband got only temrary job which is quite possibly extended if the results look promissing after his half year work. If he does get extension, his yearly income will be higher than 45k.
The thing is that he ever had no job and thus I got salary tax refund. Does it any influence on his 30% ruiling application?
