Hey Everyone!
I recently moved to NLD and looking for other Expats to meet. I live in Bergen Op Zoom, which is quite small and doesn't have any expats! Rotterdam and Breda are the largest cities closest to me so I would probably like to meet up there. I really don't have much of a network yet outside of work- which is a big culture shock for me since I'm very social. If your interested in meeting up after work or on the weekends, let me know. I'd like to get something together in the next couple of weeks. Mike |

Bergen Op Zoom... Bad luck Mike ! You must have done something really bad to end up there? Must be lots of Expats in Bergen op Zoom though, considering Phillip Morris are based there...... Roosendaal has quite a few expats living there as well. But futher west, you'll only find farmland and holiday homes! Nevertherless, www.wigz.nl (Zeeland expat group) might be worth looking into, if only to obtain any info on social contacts? Why don't you drive to Antwerp for your social contacts? It's so close and there you will find thousands of expats!

I am a young professional expat (ha! how cool is that!) in breda..not many of us around here (at least that I am aware of..) so, if you feel like having a drink let me kow! always happy to meet new people. I am also still missing some more social life...it has been more difficult than I expected to find people here! I am Spanish and I used to go for a beer with friends veeery often when I was still living there...I miss that! isa |
