Just for people's info. I found a Sl Tamil shop in the Rotterdam area, so if anyone wants to check it out, please do.

The guy does have a lot of stuff including Sona Masoori rice @ 16.50 per 10 KG pack (says it was 13.50 one month back). This is as of today morning.

Directions - If you are in rotterdam, try to get to the tram stop at Weena / Pompenberg (one is on one side of the roundabout, and the other is on the other side, so both stops are more or less the same distance). Look to ur right (or left based on where u r) ... you will be able to see a bridge under which the road will be passing. go on that road and pass under the bridge. Maybe another 5 minutes ahead, there will be a small signal and on the right side, there is the street named TeilingerStraat. You can find the shop by checking the numbers .... it is 79-A.

The shop is open 7 days a week ... Sundays from 12 - 6 and on other days from 10:30 - about 8 .... some days it is till 12 midnight.

thanks so much! im moving to delft n i was wondering where id find regular cooking stuff - i wont be able to carry everything for 2 years lol plus of course, the local grocer is the best person for info on anything desi when ur an expat!! n he can connect you with everyone! keep the info coming!

oh and do you know any parlour where we can get threading done in rotterdam/delft regions? even amsterdam is okay
