I am going to be moving back to the UK soon and I would like to know, assuming I can get an adapter, whether my existing Dutch handset will work when plugged into a BT landline.
Does anybody have any experience of this? Thanks |

Tech answer
======== You will need to change the 4 pin Dutch plug type jobby for a 431A (4-way) or 631A (6-way) plug according to BS6312, which both fit into a Type 600 socket. More commonly known as a BT socket. Non Tech Answer =========== Yes. With the right cable. |

We we came here (NL) the uk modems worked but the telephones did not. You may find it wont work even if you change the cable.
The telephones here seem to be DECT (whatever that is) and UK doesn't have DECT. Also the caller-id system is different. Success |
