Hi people,

I have deleted the thread "font colour and size" for obvious reasons. I spent time trying to salvage this thread on Friday, only to see that we went buck-wild over the weekend.

I will use this opportunity to remind all of you: If you have nothing to say but to insult another user (regardless of what they have said to you), just don't say anything. Just LEAVE IT. An alternative would be to step away from the computer and get a breath of fresh air.

Insults of any kind are not permitted in these forums (see T&C). If I see anything of this nature in the future, I will delete it. So, if you have a post that you have put your heart into, and you make the mistake of calling someone stupid, a liar, etc., I hope you saved it somewhere else because it will be deleted.

If any of you have a personal problem with another user, send him/her PM and perhaps you can work things out. I will not tolerate your personal arguments in our public forums, nor will I attempt to referee whatever is going on between individual users.

Thank you for your consideration,
Jami

And to those of you that posted anything unrelated to this argument, I'm sorry for deleting your post. Unfortunately the thread was not salvageable.

Members are giving hard time to poor admin and I feel like kids (members) are fighting over here for some past matters and calling names and then comes Mommy (admin) with a duster in her hand.

I also notices that some members come here to give opinions on everything for which they have no idea whatsoever; I wonder expatica is only friend in their loneliness.

Cheers,

It's a pity, that thread was pure comedy... in a pathetic, sad kind of way ;-)
Don't some of these people have anything better to do?

I know precisely what you mean.

Other people DO actually have active social lives away from Expatica. They are also people imbued with intelligent and enquiring minds and a broad knowledge of where to get things, how to tackle Dutch bureaucracy, recommendations of places to eat and drink, etc. and post here to contribute to a positive community or to discuss and air issues that have a wider area of concern/interest. smile.gif
