It's worth noting too that all of those schools are fee paying - either fully private or state-subsidised, but unlike normal Dutch schools, they are definitely not free and even the cheapest subsidised school will cost over €2500 per child per year.




The name for the free, state controlled education for newly arrived children is Internationale Schakelklas. The purpose of this is to help children acquire the Dutch language as quickly as possible so that they can then join mainstream dutch education. The classes are mainly for the 12-16 (secondary or middlebare) age range.
I'm not aware of any single website where you can find a list of schools that offer Internationale Schakelklas - the gemeente where you live (ask for 'Leerpleistzachen' when you call) will give you the contact name/school which they pay to run the class, but it might involve some travelling unless you live in a city.
