I am starting a new job which will involve me commuting to another city in Holland -- each day I will need to take a train and then a bus to get to work. They will be reimbursing my travel expenses and have suggested that I get a monthly travel pass. However, which travel pass do I need?
http://www.9292ov.nl/9292OV1187.asp lists several different "maand" options, but I don't know what the differences are. Can anyone help?? Thank You! |

I don't know how well your Dutch is but if you need to take the train and then public transport you're probably better off the check on www.ns.nl. http://tiny.cc/A5MRk should take you directly to the monthly pass page.
I don't know what it costs for the train ride, it probably depends on where you're travelling to and from. You can also combine the monthly train pass with a monthly public transport pass for the city you work in (price varies if you need to travel one, two or three zones). I hope that helps a little bit! -------------------- Everything has been said before, but since nobody listens we have to keep going back and beginning all over again. -Andre Gide
