There is this group http://www.meetin.org/city/MEETinEINDHOVEN/Index.cfm in Eindhoven. Sorry, I have no experience of them, but they seem a very open bunch of people. And they appear to mostly be expats. They have a meet planned for May.

Anybody have any preference for a restaurant? I'm up for anything BUT Dutch food. There's a 'Mexican' restaurant there that's not bad. I hear there is an Italian restaurant that is good by the Pathe bioscoop. What do you like or does it matter?

I am very very sorry but unfortunately I will not be able to meet you on the 10th of Mei.

My family in law has decided to organize one of this tipical dutch verjaardag, exactly on that day, a bit last minute I must say, but I cannot excape from it.

Now I am totally NOT crazy about this parties, but I cannot disappoint my husband - it is his family and we do not see them often after all, so I hope we can reschedule for another lunch or dinner.
