Hamilton's disasterous weekend in Bahrain showed that he's not yet at the level of the greats. Had, as happened on several occassions, Senna or Schumacher been shunted to the back of the parade at the start of the race they'd have fought, caught and progressed through the field.

Yesterday however, Hamilton failed to shine in the situation that he found himself in. He will have to realign his approach if he has any chance of contending for this season's title hopes.

His French Grand Prix dismal performance is starting to underline his weaknesses.

This weekend, his home GP (Silverstone) and the pressure's REALLY on. He's either going to rise to the occassion or crumble. I've correctly predicted the winners of the last two Grands Prix before the qualifying sessions - Massa (in France) and Kubica (in Canada). I'm sort of going out-on-a-limb here and am going to suggest that Hamilton may rise to the occassion and win. But, to be honest, my confidence is less than in my previous two predictions. We'll see.
