Im in a pinch , how can i avoid that my gf has to take the inburgerings course? We dont have enough budget nor time, she needs to work, and its impossible to combine these things together. We're thinking of leaving towards australia real soon, when we got enough money. As long as government allows her to stay with me, but the thing is how can we convince our local govermnent to exlude or postpone, this course? Currently we are trying to avoid it by using psychological reasons =\ , but we don't know if that's a good idea , also we are trying to write an objection letter against our local goverment into pardoning us ,because of our whole situation. Was anyone else succesfull into avoiding the inburgerings course? We need advice on how to avoid and deal with our evil city hall. |

She could also try to apply for the korte vrijstellingstoets. No matter what, you should have 5 years to pass the test so if you leave within the 5 years, there's no need to take the exam. I work over 60 hours a week and was given the option of going for evening classes 2 days a week or during the weekend. |

That would have been more useful to me...at least I would have been awake... |

You can avoid the inbuggering courses, by paying for a language course yourself or if her employer pays for the language course. That was how I avoided being totally buggered. I had to take the NT2 exam though.
If I am not wrong, under the current system, the gemeente will asign you to a school. If you have to pay for it anyway, you might like to avoid the ROCs. There are private providers who are certified and you can get part of the fees back in the form of reimbursement. Like Mei wrote, if you leave the NL before her 5 years are up, she won't have to take the exam either. korte vrijstellingstoets -------------------- At your service ... * click here to redirect *

If you go to a school that's "approved," when you pass the courses, you're eligible to get back a certain percent of what you paid. You can also get funding from the IBGroep, but that can be a good way to get high blood pressure and depression =/ |
